Description
Traveling with her socially ambitious mother and her wealthy fiance, a bored and unhappy Rose deWitt boards the Titanic for its maiden voyage across the Atlantic; however, after the ship has sailed, the young woman casts her lot in with a young ne'er-do-well from the lower class only to find out that tragedy strikes indeterminately at both the wealthy and the poor.
