On a trip to New York City, four Czech boys find themselves transported back through time. Intrigued by the chance to see the prehistoric world first hand, their fascination fades somewhat when they realize that they are not just looking at museum dioramas; they are residents of this world now and must fight for their own survival like any other prehistoric mammal.
